Work on the 61st Sale is starting Now!

We are now accepting and sorting books for our 61st Sale. Our working location is the Kensington-Bailey Neighborhood Services Buiding (995 Kensington Ave - see map below) and we will be open for business Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, 10-11:30 until April 3.We have been asked not to leave the side door (far back on the right side, behind the ramp and right next to the garage door - see below) open while we work, but it will be unlocked at these times. IMPORTANT - if the Buffalo Public Schools are closed due to weather conditions please do not expect us to be there. The safety of our members is more important than the booksale.

Please - no textbooks, prefessional journals, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, magazines, music cassettes, video tapes, records or enclyclopedias!

The sale will be May 27-31 and we will return to last year's site - the Burlington Plaza on Niagara Falls Blvd. Stay tuned for details! We'll be moving in the week of April 6 and plan to start accepting donations there on Monday, April 13. We'll collect there up until May 16.

If you'd like to help out during the sale, we welcome assistance! The various jobs are described HERE. Please send an email to "" if you're interested!

IMPORTANT - If you can hold onto your books until April 13 (and then bring them to the sale site), it would be greatly appreciated! Our sale promises to be bigger and better than ever, but we're running out of room at our sorting site! THANKS for your help!
